The Glenrothes 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Soleo Collection, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It matured for 25 years in sherry-seasoned casks, some of them first-fill. No colouring is added, so the dark golden brown colour comes from the long cask maturation alone.
The nose is very fruity with exotic touches, mango, pineapple, caramel and fine wood notes. The palate is full and very soft, with cedar wood, exotic fruit and caramel. The finish is very long, fruity and sweet.
