The Glover is an 18-year-old blended malt from Adelphi, joining Scotch malt whisky with Japanese malt from the Hanyu Distillery's stocks. This edition was bottled in 2016 at 48.6%.
Among the whiskies used was a refill ex-sherry hogshead from Hanyu. The name recalls Thomas Blake Glover, whose life links Scotland and Japan.
Its character is usually described as sherry cask, fruit, spice, malt and oak.
