The Glover by Adelphi 22 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch & Japanese Malt Whisky (53.1%)

This is a 22 year old blended malt from Adelphi, bottled at 53.1% ABV. It combines Scotch malt whisky with Japanese malt from the stocks of the closed Hanyu distillery. Adelphi chose a refill ex-sherry hogshead from those Hanyu stocks for the bottling. The Glover series commemorates Thomas Blake Glover and his role linking Scotland and Japan. It is typically described as showing dark fruit, spices, oak and malt, with the character of a sherry cask.
