The Glover by Adelphi 6 Year Old Fusion of Japanese and Scotch Malt Whisky (70cl, 57.6%)

The Glover is a blended malt from Adelphi, combining malt whisky from Ardnamurchan distillery in the Scottish Highlands with malt from Chichibu distillery in Japan. It has matured for at least six years and is bottled at 57.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The name honours Thomas Blake Glover, a merchant and diplomat who worked in Japan from the 19th century into the early 20th and contributed greatly to its industrialisation. A photograph of him, moustache included, appears on the label. The outturn is 460 bottles.
