This Strathmill is an 11-year-old single malt from The Golden Cask series, bottled by House of MacDuff at 58.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 7 June 2011, matured in a single bourbon hogshead and bottled on 14 March 2023. Cask CM296 yielded 309 numbered bottles, with no added colour and no chill-filtering.
The nose offers green apple, citrus peel, creamy vanilla and honeyed malt, with toasted coconut and gentle oak. Pear and other orchard fruit meet caramel, malt biscuit and soft spice on the palate. The finish is medium in length and warming, with vanilla and light oak.
