A 12 year old Japanese single malt from Hakushu, in a 70cl bottle. This edition marks the 100th anniversary of Suntory.
The distillery sits in the Japanese Alps, 700 metres above sea level, and more than half of its site is a nature reserve. Its still house holds six wash stills and five spirit stills, all different in shape, type and size.
The whisky is described as clear and clean, with light floral notes, a little sweetness and a slight oiliness, light yet balanced.
