A 12 year old Irish single malt from Walsh Whiskey, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is made only from malted Irish barley and is triple-distilled.
The whiskey was aged for at least twelve years in first-fill bourbon casks.
The nose is sweet and spiced, with vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of clove alongside apple, pear, charred wood and cut hay. The palate is full-bodied, with vanilla, black pepper, fresh fruit, honeyed malt and candied fruit. The finish is long, with barley, oak, cream caramel, dark chocolate and sun-dried raisins.
