The Irishman The Harvest is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey from Walsh Whiskey in County Carlow, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It marries 70% single malt with 30% single pot still whiskey, all made from Irish barley and matured in American oak bourbon barrels. No grain whiskey is used.
The nose brings peach, apricot and nectarine with black pepper, vanilla, hay and honeydew melon. The palate is soft and creamy, with custard biscuit, toffee, pot still spice, dark chocolate and buttered brown bread. The finish is medium, with butterscotch, cinnamon and a little anise, and dry oak tannins.
