A 50 year old double matured whisky from The Last Drop, in a 70cl bottle. It was first laid down in sherry casks and then given a second maturation in carefully selected wood.
The nose shows dried fruits, figs, raisins and dark chocolate, with polished oak, tobacco leaf and subtle spice. The palate is full and velvety, with rich toffee, candied orange peel, roasted nuts and warming spice. The finish is very long, with old sherry wood and gentle smoke.
