The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured exclusively in oak casks that previously held sherry. It has an amber colour with copper highlights and a full, silky texture.
The nose brings together dried fruit, raisins, candied orange, cinnamon, chocolate and oak. Sherry, gentle spices and ripe fruit follow on the palate, leading to a long, warming finish with lingering wood notes.
