The Macallan 18 Years Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, from the 2019 bottling. It was matured for eighteen years exclusively in hand-picked European oak casks from Jerez, Spain, seasoned with Oloroso sherry.
The nose is dried fruit, ginger and toasted oak, with rich orange and clove. The palate is full-bodied, with mature oak, raisin and dark chocolate, a subtle warmth of spice and a little citrus zest. The finish is long, with sweet dried fruit, ginger and a deep oak note.
