The Macallan Double Cask 30 Years Old is a single malt from Speyside and part of The Macallan's Sherry Oak range. It is matured in hand-picked, sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez and has a natural dark mahogany colour.
The nose offers honeyed figs and dates with hints of caramelised pineapple and chocolate orange. On the palate come rich fruit cake, prunes, stem ginger, cinnamon and orange, leading to gentle toasted oak. The finish is long and rich, with oak, spice and orange.
