Macallan Classic Cut 2023 is the seventh release in the annual Classic Cut series from The Macallan. This limited edition single malt is bottled at 50.3% ABV and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon American oak casks and sherry-seasoned European oak casks.
The colour is golden barley. The nose has pears and elderflower, with light almond and rich vanilla pods. On the palate there is sweet, creamy vanilla, juicy pears and lemon peel, with delicate oak. The finish is medium in length, with lingering sweetness, sweet oak and almond biscotti.
