The Macallan – Estate (70cl)

The Macallan Estate is a single malt made by whisky maker Sarah Burgess as a tribute to the home and heritage of The Macallan. It includes a proportion of spirit distilled from barley grown on the 485-acre Easter Elchies estate, which is distilled only once a year, over a single week. The estate lies in Speyside beside the River Spey, around the distillery, where The Macallan has been making malt whisky since 1824. A subtle touch of citrus balances the traditional sherry richness, and the finish is very long.
