A single malt from The Macallan in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 44% ABV. It is built around two ideas: the depth of the house whisky and the aroma of good arabica coffee.
The spirit was matured in European and American oak that had previously held sherry. The colour is a deep amber with golden glints.
The nose brings freshly roasted coffee, cocoa, nuts and creamy vanilla. On the palate come espresso, dark chocolate, toffee and honey, with candied orange, walnut and cedar. The finish is long and warm, with toasted notes, gentle spice and an echo of cocoa and coffee.
