The Matsui Single Malt is a Japanese whisky produced at the Kurayoshi distillery, which belongs to Matsui Shuzo. It is aged in Mizunara oak, a Japanese oak.
The nose is perfumed, with sandalwood, incense, coconut, pear, honey and gentle cinnamon and ginger. The palate is soft and silky, slightly oily, with peach, apricot, coconut, honey, vanilla and spice. The finish is long and warming, with fruit and spice, and sandalwood and coconut lingering.
