This is a six-year-old single malt from The Nine Springs, bottled by the independent bottler Malts of Germany as Batch 2. It combines whisky from American oak casks with whisky from German Spessart oak casks, and was bottled at 54% in a 70cl bottle. A total of 806 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers spicy Amarena cherry, dark fruit, dried herbs, honey and toffee, with a little vanilla. The palate is dry, powerful and full-bodied, with cherry, herbs and vanilla turning to oak spice. The finish is dry, long and spicy.
