This is a limited edition blended whisky from The Lakes Distillery, finished in carefully selected Moscatel wine casks. It belongs to the Moscatel Wine Cask series and is bottled at 46.6%, non-chill filtered, with 4,822 bottles released. The finish adds a warm, fruity sweetness to the English blending style of The Lakes. The nose has sweet grapes, honey, raisins and soft citrus. The palate is creamy and rich, with Moscatel wine, peach, dried fruit, light spices and a hint of vanilla. The finish is medium to long, softly sweet and rounded.
