The Pogues Streams of Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

The Pogues Streams of Whiskey is a blend of Irish and English whiskey, created by the band The Pogues and named after their ballad of the same name. A light, fruity Irish whiskey is married with a fuller-flavoured English one. The blend was matured in Bourbon casks, which give a rich vanilla and toffee finish. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The colour is golden amber. The nose shows vanilla and rich oak with a fruity, sweet maltiness, and the palate brings wood spice, sweet corn, malt, vanilla and citrus spice. The finish is long and lingering, with sweet vanilla and toffee.
