The Sassenach Whisky (70cl, 46%)

The Sassenach is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration and with natural colour. The name is a nod to the Outlander series, and the whisky was created by Sam Heughan. The blend is mainly single malt aged between 9 and 12 years, together with a 21 year old organic single grain. The grain was matured in bourbon casks and then finished in Madeira casks. The malt brings a fruity character and the grain a balanced, discreet flavour, while the Madeira casks add richness to the fruit notes.
