A single malt distilled at Bunnahabhain in 2010 and aged for more than 11 years in a single ex-sherry butt. The cask gave 609 bottles, released by The Single Malts of Scotland.
It is described as rich in smokiness, with intense heat and a hint of fruit.
The nose opens with dark chocolate chips and autumn leaves, then menthol, creamy caramel and smoked meats. On the palate sweet hickory smoke meets honey on pear slices and a touch of Szechuan pepper. The finish is slightly tannic and floral, with citrus notes.
