The whisky is matured for 12 years in a combination of American and European oak casks.
On the palate it is rich and silky, with baked apple, ripe pear and honey, then creamy vanilla, toasted nuts and sweet malt, and hints of butterscotch, dried fruit and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with lingering oak and soft fruit sweetness.
