This is a 2007 Dufftown single malt from Speyside, released in the Old Malt Cask range from Hunter Laing. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The Dufftown distillery was founded in 1896 in the town of the same name, converted from a grain mill. It was one of seven distilleries in the town until an eighth was built, a fact captured in the old rhyme that Dufftown stands on seven stills as Rome stands on seven hills.
