The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Years Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a relaunched Singleton, now from Dufftown, and is aimed at drinkers new to malt whisky.
The colour is rich amber with polished mahogany highlights, and the body is medium to full.
The nose starts with polished wood and toasted nuts, then baked apple and soft brown sugar, with a mossy note. The palate brings sweetness and crunchy nuts, then fruity richness with brown sugar and espresso coffee. The finish is medium to long, drying and crisp, with a sweetly nutty chew.
