The nose is slightly spicy and drying, with toffee apples and hints of honeycomb balanced by linseed oil and a touch of the sea. The palate is medium bodied and mouth coating, sweet to begin and then drying, with fresh fruit and spicy top notes. The finish is drying, with pears and digestive biscuits, then a delicate spice of aniseed.
