The Westland Sherry Wood is an American single malt whiskey in a 70cl bottle. Its two years of maturation took place in casks that previously held Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry, together with new American oak barrels.
On the nose there are oats soaked in nectar and raisin treats, with maple syrup poured over banana flapjacks. The palate offers sweet treats and baked goods, deepening and growing richer over time, and the finish is of stewed yellow fruit.
