This is a Ledaig single malt from a refill sherry butt, bottled by The Whisky Agency at ten years old. It was distilled at Tobermory in 2011 and bottled in 2022 at 53.2% ABV, with natural colour. Only 361 bottles were filled.
The nose is sharp and slightly dirty, with lemon, trifle, smoke and sea air. On the palate it starts savoury, with smoke and lemon, then opens to cooked fruit and an intense maritime peat. The finish is long and smoky, recalling embers of a beach bonfire.
