The Whistler Bodega Cask

The Whistler Bodega Cask is a triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskey, matured for at least five years in Spanish sherry butts from bodegas in Jerez de la Frontera. The Whistler is a project of the Cooney family, who converted a former car showroom in County Meath into the Boann Distillery. The nose has stewed dark fruit, leather, chocolate and tobacco, with undertones of citrus peel and caramel. The palate is oily, with leather, spices, dried figs and sultanas, bitter chocolate and dry citrus peel. The finish is long and dry, with dried fruit and lingering maltiness.
