The Whistler Mosaic Marsala Cask Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

The Whistler Mosaic Marsala Cask is a small batch Irish single grain whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Sicilian Marsala casks, giving fruity, savoury character on both nose and palate. The nose is a burst of citrus, with dried peel, juicy orange and lime, and vanilla, chocolate and oak spice behind. Toffee and hazelnut open the palate, followed by dry citrus, honey and stewed apricots. The finish is medium in length, with citrus peel, oak spice and honey.
