The Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in three kinds of cask: American white oak, Spanish oak and Japanese oak. The colour is amber.
The nose combines tropical fruit, honey, vanilla and oak. The palate is malty, with sweet caramel, citrus fruit and more oak. The finish is long and fruity, with a light peppery bite.
