The Yamazaki 12-Year-Old is a Japanese single malt from the Yamazaki Distillery, bottled at 43% and described as having layers of rich flavour and a balanced character.
It starts with peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange, vanilla and Mizunara (Japanese oak). The buttery, soft palate moves on to coconut and cranberry.
A touch of sweet ginger and cinnamon runs through the long finish.
