The Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from whiskies matured in ex-Bordeaux wine casks, ex-sherry casks and Japanese oak casks.
The nose is very fruity, with strawberry, cherry and oak. The palate offers red berries, peach and a little coconut. The finish is of medium length, with sweet vanilla and a touch of cinnamon.
