Thomas S. Moore is a Kentucky straight bourbon brand from the Barton 1792 distillery in Bardstown. This release belongs to its Extended Cask Finish series. The bourbon was aged for 5 to 6 years in new charred oak, then moved into Oloroso sherry casks for a further period of 1 to 4 years. It is bottled at 49.4% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose combines sweeter scents with earthy, aged notes, along with figs and toasted nuts. On the palate there is rye spice and mixed nuts, and the finish is a lingering, chewy oak and spice note. The colour is a dark mahogany.
