This is a single malt from Craigellachie, bottled by Thompson Bros at 13 years old. It was distilled in 2009 and matured in two refill hogsheads before bottling in 2022 at 50% ABV. The colour is natural, and 628 bottles were filled.
The nose combines dried malt and washback with pineapple, pears and apples. It is fairly big and slightly oily, with barley sugars, berries, almonds and Serrano ham.
On the palate there is dried barley malt, more cured ham, olive oil, pineapple soda and lime zest. The finish brings further lime zest with almond butter, ginger tea and pineapple cubes.
