This is an 8 year old teaspooned blended malt, a private edition selected and bottled by Thompson Bros. It was distilled in 2016, matured in a first-fill hogshead and bottled in 2024 at 57.1% ABV.
The nose is fruity and floral, with pineapple, peach, raspberry, elderflower, apricot, carrot cake, dried mango and apple blossom. The palate is velvety, with milk chocolate, juicy peaches, crystallised grapes, Oregon chardonnay and sunflower. The finish is lingering and exuberant, with ripe fruit and a pastry-like sweetness.
