A 9 year old blended whisky from Thompson Bros, the Final Release of TB/BSW. It was bottled in 2026 at 45% ABV, in a run of 6,800 bottles.
The nose is rich, with dark dried fruits, orange rind and marmalade, toffee and soft oak. On the palate it is thick and oily, with almond oil, marzipan, Medjool dates and sherried fruit, and an undercurrent of aged rum and warming spices such as cinnamon and star anise.
The finish is long, with gentle oak char, baking spices, Muscovado sugar and a little nuttiness.
