This is a single cask Loch Lomond single malt from the independent bottler Thompson Brothers, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2005 and matured for thirteen years.
The nose offers orchard fruits, mainly green apple and pear, with a gentle malty sweetness and a hint of vanilla from the oak. The palate has cereal notes and gentle spice, with a richness that builds. The finish is clean and of medium length, with lingering warmth and a touch of dried fruit.
