This is a 16 year old Tobermory from the Isle of Mull, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 by the independent bottler Jewish Whisky Company for its Single Cask Nation series. It was finished in a French oak barrique and bottled at 55.7% in a 70cl bottle. Only 132 bottles were filled.
The nose brings warm porridge, banana slices, dried apricots, honey and a light maritime note. The palate is full and sweet, with citrus, soaked barley, dry hay, rhubarb, vanilla and a touch of salt. The finish is long, with light saltiness, barley sugar and a mineral edge.
