Tobermory 1798 is a limited edition 15 year old single malt from Tobermory, the only distillery on the Isle of Mull in the Hebrides. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and comes in a blown bottle.
The nose opens with rich malt, manuka honey and dried spices, with lavender, clove and cedar, and a faint hint of burnt rubber. The palate is rich, led by spice and malt, turning warm and peppery. The finish is dry and slightly bitter, with toasted grain, spice and a little cocoa.
