Tobermory – 21 Year Old (70cl, 46.3%)

Tobermory 21 Year Old is an unpeated single malt from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, founded in 1798. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky matured for 21 years, with an extended finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks that gives it a deep mahogany colour. The nose combines dried fruits, dark chocolate, treacle, orange marmalade and seasoned oak. On the palate it is rich and velvety, with caramelised nuts, sultanas, ginger, baked apple and a hint of sea salt. The finish is long and sherried.
