Tobermory – 21 Year Old (70cl)

This is a 21 year old single malt from Tobermory, the only distillery on the Isle of Mull. It has an amber colour and spent the last three of its 21 years finishing in Oloroso sherry casks. The distillery sits in the town of Tobermory on the bay of the same name. It was founded in 1798 under the name Ledaig and reopened in 1993 after several closures. The nose brings clove, orange and dark chocolate. On the palate come plums and walnuts, followed by dark chocolate and nutmeg. The finish is dry, with cinnamon and a touch of leather.
