Tobermory – 25 Years 1994 Wilson & Morgan

This is a 25 year old Tobermory from the 1994 vintage, matured in sherry casks and bottled by the independent Edinburgh firm Wilson & Morgan. Tobermory is the single distillery on the Isle of Mull. The whisky has the oily body typical of the distillery and an earthy character that sets it apart. The sherry casks add a layer of dried and candied fruit. Tasting notes describe liquorice, a hint of tar and maritime notes alongside sultanas, peach and candied orange peel.
