A 10 year old single malt from the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was established in 1798.
Ledaig is the heavily peated style of the island's only distillery, made from peated barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is briny peat smoke with antiseptic, creosote, mint chocolate, wax polish and coastal florals. The palate is sweet and medicinal, with dried fruit, pepper and soft, rich smoke. Creamy vanilla and malt sit beneath a velvety, smoky texture.
