Tobermory – Ledaig 18 Years (70cl, 46.3%)

Ledaig 18 Years is a peated single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky spent 16 years in ex-bourbon casks, followed by 2 years in sherry casks for the finish. It is part of the core Ledaig range. The colour is coppery gold. The nose has sherry and smoke with seaweed, tar, chilli, black pepper and sweet oak. On the palate the sherry continues, with burnt herbs, orange peel, coffee, tobacco, sea salt and pepper. The finish is long, smoky, spicy and salty.
