Tobermory – Ledaig 9 Year Old Bordeaux Red Wine Cask (70cl)

Tobermory Ledaig 9 Year Old is a peated single malt from the Isle of Mull, matured fully in Bordeaux red wine casks. It is a limited edition, bottled at cask strength. Ledaig is the peated range from Tobermory, and this nine-year-old brings that smoky style together with red wine cask maturation. The nose offers smoked fudge, eucalyptus oil and a hint of carbolic soap. On the palate come burning heather, pine cones, grape skins and melon, with wood-smoked meat building mid-palate. The finish is floral, with heather, honeysuckle and lime pastilles as the smoke fades.
