Togouchi Kiwami (70cl)

Togouchi Kiwami is a limited edition blended whisky from Chugoku Jozo, made from Scotch single malts and Canadian grain whisky. Its name is the French equivalent of "Prestige". It is matured in ex-sherry oak casks inside a disused railway tunnel 361 metres long in the town of Togouchi, where the temperature stays around 15 degrees Celsius and the humidity around 80 per cent all year. The nose is delicate and floral, with green grass, chamomile, nuts and honey. The palate is medium-bodied, with toasted hazelnut, honey, green grass, vanilla and cereal. The finish is short, with pepper, nutmeg, vanilla and a hint of chocolate.
