Togouchi Single Cask Japanese Blended Whisky Port Cask Limited (70cl)

Togouchi Single Cask Port Cask Limited is a Japanese blended whisky from the Chugoku Jozo distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single cask and has been finished in casks that previously held Port. Togouchi matures its whisky in a disused railway tunnel in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, where temperature and humidity stay steady. The nose shows dried red fruits such as figs and dark cherries, with sweet spice, vanilla and gentle oak. The palate is rich and velvety, with ripe plums, raisins, dark chocolate and a nutty hint. The finish is long, with red fruit compote, light spice and soft oak.
