This is a 12 year old single malt from Tomatin, released as the distillery's 125th anniversary edition. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a mix of traditional Scotch whisky casks, ex-bourbon casks and ex-Spanish sherry casks.
The nose opens with wild heather, pine and cedar, which then sweeten into crème caramel with apples, pears and mango. The finish is full-bodied and buttery.
