Tomatin 12 Year Old Barolo Cask - Italian Collection (70cl, 46%)

Tomatin 12 Year Old Barolo Cask is the third part of the Italian Collection, a Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was distilled on 6 December 2010 and spent ten years in traditional Scotch whisky oak casks. On 10 February 2021 it was moved into Barolo wine casks for a further two years, and it was bottled on 5 June 2023. The nose is mulled wine and dark chocolate. The palate shows spiced mead with cranberry and a fresh grapefruit note, and the finish is light tannin with sugared almonds.
