Tomatin 12 Year Old is a single malt matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It receives a final maturation in Oloroso sherry casks, which adds depth to the malt.
The nose combines stewed apples and raisins with almond, resinous and floral notes and a hint of chocolate. The palate has oaky vanilla and fresh mint, with stem ginger, a touch of guava and dried orange peel. The finish is marked by carob, a trace of raspberry jam and barley.
